I’m a multidisciplinary designer with fifteen years of experience, creating visual work that helps ideas come across clearly and feel engaging – whether that’s through design, illustration, or branding.
I like to approach each project with curiosity and a critical eye, shaping work that feels clear, considered, and genuinely fitting for the story it’s telling.
I am based in the Netherlands, but also open to international work where there is enough overlap in time zones!
My Background
My background spans visual design, UX/UI, and illustration, giving me a well-rounded approach to how people read, navigate, and connect with content.
Over the years, I’ve worked across both freelance and in-house roles, collaborating with teams and clients on:
- Publication and editorial design – cookbooks, lifestyle titles, and corporate or strategy documents
- Corporate communication and marketing materials
- UX/UI design and participation in Design Sprints
- Branding and campaign design for print, digital, and social channels
- Illustration and motion graphics for news and social channels
I enjoy following a clear creative process – from research and sketching through to final delivery – ensuring every piece not only looks polished but communicates with purpose. Whether working independently or as part of a team, I value consistency, thoughtful detail, and creative problem-solving.
Skills and software
I work in Adobe CC, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Fresco, After Effects, Premiere Pro and Adobe Express. I design and illustrate articles in Shorthand, like this example and this one. I also have experience with Figma, Canva and Microsoft Powerpoint.
Over the years I have trained several design interns and can consult with your design and/or communications team to optimise your processes and strengthen your design output.
